The staff on this course have been wonderful in aiding with our understanding of the helpful resources they have given us. They made sure that what they were saying made sense and we were all on the same page, whilst also being able to give feedback on our own understandings.
Amazing skills and trainers
I suffer from bipolar 1 , I let people get away with taking from me as I never feel in control of myself and I have never had a one on one nurse. My medication I feel is not working, I'm doing hard drugs, I have trust issues with everyone. When I am down I gamble.

Fantastic service that really helped both the participant and the family member with mental health problems as well as the wider family. I could not recommend this service highly enough and the compassion and care given far exceeded expectations. This is a much needed service.

As I am white British and the people dealing with me were white British this was not really relevant to the interactions that I had. However the care I received was excellent.

Most if not all of these questions are not relevant to the Family Connections course I did. But the course was led by 2 fantastic ladies, both with very different life experiences but both showed compassion and care for me throughout the course. I had no idea about the American jargon used throughout but each week more of it made sense and I found I could use some of the skills learnt to help me understand some of what my son is going through, and that in turn taught me different ways of seeing and then acting on what I see and hear each day.
Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us. We do ask preferred times when we meet prior to the group and thus far evenings have suited the majority. However we will continue to review as a team.
